How to build a multi-column X dashboard
Why columns beat tab switching
If you monitor news, brands, or niche communities on X, opening a new tab for every timeline slows you down. A multi-column dashboard keeps Home, Search, lists, and notifications visible at once so you spot trends and replies faster.
ReDeck adds that layout on top of the official X experience at x.com/redeck, so you keep the same login, posts, and interactions—just with a TweetDeck-style workspace.
Columns to add first
Start with Home and a Search column for your main keywords or hashtags. Add a Notifications column if you respond often, and a custom URL column for a list, profile, or bookmark collection you check daily.
Use drag and drop to reorder columns, resize widths, and set auto-refresh per feed so busy columns update more often than background ones.
Save layouts with workspaces
When a layout works, save it as a named workspace—for example News, Clients, or Sports. Switch workspaces from the sidebar instead of rebuilding columns every morning.
Export and import settings to copy a layout to another browser or your Windows desktop app without starting from scratch.
Install and open ReDeck
Install ReDeck for Chrome, Edge, or Windows, sign in to X, then go to x.com/redeck. Your column layout stays on your device; see the how-to page for install links and setup steps.
