Meet Jev: a rule layer for your X workspace
A different job from columns
Columns help you see several feeds at once. Jev adds a way to act on eligible saved posts according to your own written criteria. The same workspace can collect technical research, organize relevant authors and reduce repetitive promotions.
Saving useful posts is a good first workflow
A Bookmark rule can collect research releases or practical tutorials. An Add author to list rule can help build a reading list of people sharing useful work. Like and Repost serve different purposes; reposting also changes what appears on your profile.
Block and Mute affect the author. Choose the action before enabling a rule, and consider whether it is appropriate beyond a single matching post.
Rules need exceptions
“Save open-source releases” is a starting point. Adding “except paid promotions and release rumors” describes your intent more precisely. The library includes 18 editable examples with exceptions and situations to inspect for false positives.
The model receives post text, author handle and display name. It cannot use a profile biography, verification badge or full linked article to fill gaps in the text.
Stay in control of the result
Preview recent Timeline History entries before enabling live actions. Review activity statuses afterwards: a match, a queued action and a completed action are different states. Pause rules and adjust request and action limits when needed.
Jev requires a TypeSafe API key. Evaluation is remote and can incur API usage; the website builder itself only prepares settings in your browser. Follow the setup guide for the installation steps.
